There are six pages of advertisements at the end - Brown's French Dressing Boots and Shoes, Columbia Bicycles, Williams' Shaving Stick, The great American Tea Co., Barbour's Irish Flax Threads, Geo. Mather's Sons Inks, Crosby's Vitalized Phosphates, Enoch Morgan's Sons, A.G. Spalding Bros - Tennis, Sozodont Dentrifice, The Great Divide, A & F Pears, Lundborg's Famous Perfumes. The editor is Mrs. Frank Leslie. The heavy gauge pages show age discoloration and damage. The faded hard cover has three children play acting grown-ups. There is considerable edge wear on the cover and a large tear on the back inside cover. There are loose, missing, and damaged pages. This 127 year-old anthology is very interesting from the period and is in poor but generally intact condition.
