Description: RARE ANTIQUE SMALL STEEL SAVINGS COIN BANK ADVERTISING THE NATIONAL BANK OF RISING SUN IN CECIL COUNTY, MD This is an antique small all-steel constructed oval shaped savings coin bank advertising for a bank out of Cecil County, Maryland. This bank advertises on a tag on the front for "The National Bank of Rising Sun Superior Personal Service Rising Sun, Maryland.". The bottom of the Bank is marked by the manufacturer, the Stronghart Company out of Chicago. We don't have the key for opening it though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in pretty good condition overall for its age with some natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures 1 and 7/8" tall by 3 and 1/8" wide by 2" thick. Wonderful and hard-to-find old steel savings bank from Rising Sun, MD would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
