Description: Rare antique/turn-of-the-century exploratory medical kit that was originally battery powered and would have had large batteries in the underside of the case that hooked up to the hardware on the underside of the top plate. Some of the instruments have bulb ends that would have lit up. Made by the Surgical Appliance Mfg Co., Rochester, NY. Name plate on inside of the top of the case as seen. Instruments are marked. Placed in a wooden dovetailed case. There is wear to the case, see condition report details. Case measures 12 3/8" x 7 1/4" x 5 3/8." See photos.
