Description: This fly catcher looks complete. The clockworks were professionally serviced and works. According to research the drum is coated with a mixture of molasses and vinegar on the rotating barrel. As the barrel rotates the fly would get scraped off towards the light in the screened off area. The screen is loose now but you can press it back in place. Attributed to a Japanese company. OWARI watch making company 1905-1915. Any added or altered parts were done before I acquired it.
