Rare Antique German Wallendorf Scenic Porcelain Cup & Saucer w/ Lid c. 1770

Description: A Very Rare Antique Wallendorf porcelain cup and saucer set. The set is complete, with matching cup, saucer and lid. The cup and saucer are marked with a blue W mark, c. 1755-1770. The cup and saucer are hand-painted with a scenic landscape,with a villa and castle by the sea. There is also a fisherman on the shore , and a sailship on the sea. Condition: some age-related darkened brown areas as pictured ( mostly on the saucer and lower back side of the cup), gilt rim mostly worn out, otherwise in very good condition for its age. Dimensions: cup: H 2 1/2", W 2 1/2". Saucer: D 5 1/2", H 1 1/2".
