Rare Anthurium Vittarifolium 25" Tall 14" Leaf Aroid Not Philodendron Monstera

Description: Anthurium Vittarifolium which often gets mistaken as A. Pallidiflorum may appear to have a velvety sheen in the younger leaves, but is not a velvet Anthurium. This of course isnt always easy to see when you are looking at a plant online. The big difference and easiest option for a quick ID is to look at the leaf shape, specifically the base of the leaf, where it meets the petiole. The Vittarifolium has a pointed base while the Pallidiflorum is more rounded. See the images. Vittarifolium has a less defined rib, is a slimmer strap leaf shape that is thick and leathery that gradually runs into a pointed tip. She is 25" tall by 18" wide that had just pushed out her longest leaf and new leaves are much longer than the older ones and it happens fast. Longest leaf measures 12.5" long ( not including the petioles) by 2" wide. She is a stunning plant to add to your collection. It will take some time to get her to this size. She has acclimated to a regular household temps without the need for extra humidity. I have her in my family room that gets indirect western sun and she loves it! Can be Place in a medium to bright room away from direct sunlight, pot in an aroid mix and water when the soil feels dry.
