On original release "Down In A Hole" was the second-to-last track, some later reprints move it to track 4 instead. This vinyl version moves it to track 4, which also means the Side B opener ("Dirt") is instead track B2 and the Side A closer ("Junkhead") is the new Side B opener. B4 is not listed on the jacket or label. Includes a printed inner sleeve with lyrics & credits. Tom Araya appears courtesy of Def American Records. Produced at One on One and Eldorado, 1992. Even after multiple wet cleanings there's still lots of crackles and pops. It's only obvious between tracks so it's not too obnoxious.ReplyHelpfulEliotwilliams90 May 1, 2024Echo a lot of comments here about cranking this record. I think its the only one i've listened to in my collection where i have to go up to -19.5db on my amp to make it sound best. If not the guitars are a bit lost in the mix. For comparison something like PJ Ten i would have at around -21db and most records these days about -25Reply1 HelpfulKirky70 Jan 23, 2024Edited 7 months agoIt’s a MOV pressing. Nothing more needs to be said really!! Absolutely superb. These guys love vinyl and it shows!!Reply1 HelpfulWolfgangJZV Jan 6, 2024I have a nice copy to sell, If someone want to buy it send me a DMReplyHelpfulPruittFranks Dec 15, 2023no idea why some people don’t like this pressing. especially if you dig the original mix. it’s definitely a little more “compressed” than the 2022 remix but in my opinion it’s more true to the album. it’s not compressed in the way you think when you hear that word. i’d almost say it’s more focused. the instrument separation is still there and is especially fantastic on Rooster. over all i’m a huge fan of it and will probably spin it more than the 2022 version. plus you don’t have to flip it every 2-3 songs. as long as you crank it up a little extra it should give you absolutely no issues. 8/10ReplySee 1 reply2 HelpfulOliverTom80 Aug 13, 2023Bought it sealed in 2019 for £29.. it sounds like a CD, unsure why so many people are raising the prices for this. The 2022 repress sounds much betterReplySee 2 replies1 HelpfulSeasOfCheese117 Aug 8, 2023I wish I sold my copy when the market was inflated haha! Although I knew it would get repressed, it was tempting, this album just can’t leave my hands ever. Too important.ReplyHelpfulweissja36 Apr 10, 2023I compared them and I much prefer this MOV pressing to the new 2022 2LP. More dynamic, whiter background and just overall a better listen. I’ve been picky with my MOV titles and when they get it right they really get it right. Too bad this one has shots up in price so high, it’s gonna make it harder for true fans to get a hold of.Reply10 HelpfulScrunglyScrimblo Jan 22, 2023Edited one year agoSuprisingly good sound quality for 1 hour of music pressed to a single disc. The sound can compete with remastered CD copies easily.ReplyHelpfulart_of_vinyl Dec 13, 2022why is this still overpriced? it doesn’t worth anything above 30$. It’s a decent sounding issue and can be had as a secondary variant to latest 2x Reissue!ReplySee 1 reply6 HelpfulLoad More ReviewsRelease [r2055654]Edit Release See all versions Recently EditedFor sale on DiscogsSell a copy
