So keep a watch out on up and coming listings for some interesting, now extremely hard to get, unique items! Ok, you 1999-2004 New Edge Saleen Mustang Owners and 1994-04 Mustang Owners out there. These Now Rare, No Longer Produced/Offered, Original Saleen Parts may really Catch your eye and interest here!What we have offered here are Some Hard to Come by Now-a-days, No Longer Produced/Obsolete, Now Rare Original Saleen Parts acquired from the past that may interest any 1999 through 2002 Saleen Mustang Owners out there and or even any of the 1994 through 2004 SN95 & New Edge Mustang Owners out there! Offered here is an Original Set of 1999 through 2002 Saleen S281 Mustang Fuel Pressure & Oil Temperature White Faced Gauges with Original Saleen Gauge Pod in Great Gently Used Condition originally from 1999 (25 years ago). Also included is a Saleen Fuel Pressure Gauge Sending Unit and Saleen Oil Temp Gauge Sending Unit, these parts are specific to the gauges and were purchased at a later date directly from Saleen and are NOS parts!This Early 1999 Specific Set up was the actual R&D Saleen Pod used in 1999. The 1994 through 1998 Saleen Mustangs that have the Saleen Gauge Pod installed or equipped on those cars, the pod itself has a different way of mounting. This actual Pod was acquired originally from Joe Gosinski, who was a personal friend of ours (RIP). Joe in 1999 was still working for Saleen and this style pod with mounting type was produced for a more durable mount on the center dash! This Pod originally had been installed and de-mounted a few times on a few different Mustangs at Saleen before the vehicles were converted to Saleen Vehicles at the plant. When we got this from our friend Joe, he mentioned the above details and that some of the other technicians at Saleen practiced installing this on different dashes. With that being said, the pod itself does have an mark/scuff on the upper left side front face of the leather/vinyl covering of the pod by the Oil Temp Gauge. Also on the Pod where the base of the pod is the plastic part of the pod has a crack in the base which occurred long ago while one of the other technicians were installing it! It's below the Oil Temp gauge, see posted pictures. This Original Saleen Pod and Gauges were originally acquired from Joe G when he was in his shop in Torrance long ago, but originally come from the 1999 year. WE added the Saleen NOS Fuel Pressure Sending Unit for that specific gauge and the Saleen Oil Temperature Gauge Sending unit specific to this gauge. This is helps complete this set up and are needed to have functional gauges! The Gauges are 25 years old now, we don't believe that they have ever been installed and hooked up, but we did have them tested at one time and they were in perfect working condition. This set up has been in our hands for many years now, but again was something Joe got his hands on when he worked at Saleen back in the 1999 year! We would recommend getting different Gauge rear mounting brackets, these are what we got long ago with this set up and something we think the technicians just fabricated quickly to just test the gauges placed in the pod from long ago! We figured after all these years keeping it the same as how we got it long ago, only with adding the NOS sending units is understandable!These Style Original White Faced Saleen Gauges and Saleen Gauge Pod were unique to 1999 through 2002 Saleen S281 Mustangs as an Optional Equipment Item with the extra Saleen Gauges installed on the center dash, similar to what the supercharged Saleen Mustangs came equipped with except they had the boost and intercooler gauges. If we go into exact details about what is offered here, if you are a perfectionist or Saleen Historian and know all the details about New Edge Saleen Mustangs then we would add that this Original Saleen Gauge Pod is the same style/one used for the 1999 through 2002 Saleen S281 Mustangs that came from the Saleen headquarters equipped from Saleen from the factory. These Exact Saleen White Faced Gauges though, they are early style New Edge Saleen Mustang gauges and what we mean by this is that they are specific to 1999 and 2000 Saleen Mustangs. On the early New Edge Mustangs they used these style white faced gauges that have a few subtle differences from what came equipped from the factory in 2001 Saleen Mustangs and 2002 Saleen Mustangs. There are actually three different variations of the early type Saleen white face gauges that found there way into 1999 and 2000 Saleen Mustangs. The 1999 Saleen S281 Mustang, 2000 Saleen S281 Mustang and some 2001 Saleen S281 Mustangs and 2002 Saleen Mustangs from the factory originally that were fortunate to have a similar gauge pod with gauges installed had different variations of these specific gauges which are barely noticeable to most people out there and to be honest, most 1999 through 2002 Saleen S281 Mustang owners don't even realize these exact details. How do we know this? Because we have owned all the different variations of the same type of gauges over the years. Regardless of all that info here, these Gauges can be equipped on any 1994 through 2004 SN95 and New Edge Mustangs! These are some Rare Original Saleen Gauges and Pod, something that will never be reproduced and or offered again! We are sure that this Listing will get the attention of some Saleen Owners out there!1999 through 2002 Original Saleen Mustang parts, are very hard to acquire now-a-days since the years are passing bye and the cars are over 20 years old now. Saleen has not produced and offered any parts like these since 2005 and even then, they had a Limited supply of anything like this, so finding stuff like this out there really will not be easy unless guys like us offer stuff out of there collection and or what they are hoarding! These Gauges are specific to again 1999 through 2002 Saleen Mustangs, but can be used on any 1994 through 2004 Mustang and if you ride is equipped with a supercharger then these gauges are a must have item, especially if you want to retain the factory Saleen look!These Style Original Saleen Gauges and Saleen Leather/Vinyl Wrapped Gauge Pod Assembly will Never be Produced Again!
