Rare 1972 Ladies BULOVA N2 Accutron Fork Silver Dial Red Date 2302 New Battery

Description: Circa 1972 ladies Bulova Accutron using a tuning fork movement, unique to Bulova and capable of +/- 2 or 3 seconds / day when tuned correctly. This particular watch is running about 22 seconds behind a day- about par with a typical automatic. Taking it to a watchmaker for tuning would probably bring this down to just a few seconds a day. A new battery Renata battery was just installed on 10/19/24. The case has 4 angled faces on the top with quadrant dividers. There is a brushed finish applied to the flat surfaces. The N2 on the caseback is the manufacturer’s date code & means this was manufactured in 1972. Finding a clean & running tuning fork Accutron with a red date disc located at the 6 o’clock position is getting more and more rare. The watch measures 24 mm wide without the signed Bulova crown and 31 mm long lug to lug. The watch is currently fitted to a Speidel stainless expansion bracelet, but can fit any 14-15 mm bracelet or strap. Please see all pictures and video for exact condition.
