No labeled size and looks to fit in the approx. trim L to L range. Coats were likely cut a little smaller back in 1951 so it fits more like a trim Large by today's standards. Please see detailed measurments below. Color: White, black and red. My camera added a yellow hue in some of the photos; photos 8, 12 & 13 show the actual white, black and red colors best. Style: Single breasted - button front, 4 exterior pockets, 2 interior pockets Material: 100% Virgin Wool Here is a very nice vintage Filson (made in the USA) Double Mackinaw Cruiser jacket with the Union Made label. This coat is from 1951 and is very rare. Far as I know it was only issued the one time in 1951 and is known as the "alternate Peppermint Patty". Given the rarity you are not likely to see another on ebay for some time. This jacket is overall excellent vintage condition - no issues (holes etc) to the fabric. Really nice condition given it's age and you can tell it was never worn much. The only "flaw" is a single missing Filson snap cover on the rear map pocket (see photo). Since Filson has a lifetime guarantee you can contact them and have them send you a matching snap cover (or send to them to add the snap cover). The workmanship and attention to detail on this jacket is second to none. This jacket has no labeled size and looks to fit in the trim Large range, but to ensure a proper fit please compare a jacket that fits you well to the following additional details: 19 inches across the shoulder (sleeve seam to sleeve seam directly across the back). 24 inches armpit to armpit. 23.5 inches across the waist. Total length is 29.5 inches from base of collar to jacket bottom. Sleeves are 24.5 inches from shoulder seam to cuff. This coat is in excellent condition. Bid with confidence.
