Tears and some seams have been applied with Lineco clear document repair strips. The spine has been expertly re=glued so the book is now solid as a rock. Otherwise, no one put any marks on any part of the book. The spine has pro book tape on it as shown from the spine repair. From p. 1309 - 1373 there is a nick in the side as shown in the photo. Its about 1/16th of an inch by 1/16th of an inch - insignificant but noticeable to the eye. There are about 8 pages at the beginning BEFORE the actual numbered pages begin. These have extensive page repairs. From the Numbered p. 3 until p. 1396 the page are in good condition - no marks, no tears, no repairs, no problems. The pages at the end of the book - most of them have more page repairs. I showed some of them in the photos but ran out of photos. If you like I can send you pictures of the 8-page table of contents, just message me. Those pages - most of them have small page repairs. Most of the repairs, , almost all of them are from page edge brittleness. I did the best I could to get them all, but please turn the beginning and end sections' pages carefully. The middle section, as I mentioned, about 85% of the pages escaped damage somehow. I grade the book as FAIR / REPAIRED, but note that there are no marks, and luckily, no bumps. besides the repair, the cover looks pretty good. The lettering and star of david on the spine are in excellent condition. Enjoy this rare book, especially if you speak Yiddish, or plan on restoring it some more. I went as far as I could.
