RARE 1859 HOLMES BOOTH & HAYDEN'S SPRING CLIP LIP BURNER WITH ORIGINAL CHIMNEY

Description: Here's a scarce early no.1 Holmes, Booth & Haydens spring clip lip burner and original hand blown glass chimney with flared fitter lip.... Round thumbwheel of burner is embossed Holmes Booth & Haydens Pat Jan 24, 1860....the inner circle is embossed EF Jones Jan 11, 1859.... Burner is 1 3/4"tall x 3/4"across threads. It has a little brass lever on side. There is a small piece inside that is loose, but I'm not sure how it goes back together.....It takes a 1 5/8" lipped fitter chimney. The hand blown glass chimney is original to this burner and is 1 5/8"across the flared fitter base....9 3/8"tall...round...crude smooth sheared top. Chimney fits snug into burner just fine.
