Description: Here is a set of 11 bow tie blocks and 11 precut butterflies from vintage cotton fabrics. Two of the four patch bow tie blocks measure approximately 8 1/2" square, two are about 9 1/2" square. These are a combination of hand and machine piecing. The single bow ties measure approximately 8 1/4" square and are also a combination of hand and machine piecing. Please note, most of these blocks are soiled as well as some of the lighter fabrics in the four patches. Also included is a set of 11 precut butterflies from vintage cotton fabrics for applique. Size of each butterfly is approximately 7 3/4" across at the widest and 6 1/2" tall, edges are raw. Fabrics for all of the pieces are generally from the late 1800s to early 1900s including shirting prints, indigo blue and black. Butterflies are generally clean, although the shirting pieces do have some light brown staining, please use the zoom feature to view. Item is for only the pictured blocks and butterflies, no other materials or instructions are included.
