Description: This listing is for a starter tree PURPLE STAGHORN CHOLLA. This is the same cholla that can be found growing throughout Saguaro National park, near Tucson Arizona. If you keep it pruned and sometimes on their own, these will form into trees and the trunk will have bark like a normal tree. During certain times of year this cactus can change from green to a beautiful purple. The first pictures are of the actual plant you will receive. The last picture is an example of how purple this can get and the second to last picture is of the mother plant the cuttings were taken from. As you can see, this is a pretty big cutting and if kept pruned it will make a cool tree for you. I ship all plants bare root and use USPS Priority or Ground Advantage depending on the weight and destination.
