Sides have a row of nails up its side to hold lap securely. Thick walled and well used. CONDITIONThis round measure is a soft dry dark brown color with proper age patina that only comes with age, with appropriate wear from decades of use, no nicks, few scratches. All nails are tight with none missing. No warping to the wood. It is still very structurally sound for its age. Unmarked with no makers mark.Please review all photos as they are also an important part of my description and ask any questions.
