Description: I bought these little pots having no idea what they were and still quite frankly have no idea what they truly are. I’ve been advised by a local antique expert that it is most likely grain or rice pots from the early 1800s. They are a unique texture/material, I believe it is wood with metal strapping but they are very light weighted and seem to be very well used because the texture on the exterior of the pots is like a wax or some type of dried and cured liquid. I had them in office holding plants so the insides are a little dirty (again I had no idea these were collectible). Once I found out what they were I knew I needed to sell to someone who would value them. Shoot me a message with any questions and I’ll do my best to answer. These pots are super unique and Ill be sure to ship them very safe. All sales will be final, I’ve posted many pics of the pots to show their characteristics and happy to answer any questions.
