Description: I have for sale a 20th century United States mint medal for President William McKinley. This medal was struck after 1900. The medal is bronze, it is three inches in diameter and in uncirculated condition. The obverse shows the raised bust of WILLIAM McKINLEY with his name at the rim. The reverse reads INAUGURATED - PRESIDENT OF THE - UNITED STATES - MAR 4 1897 - SECOND TERM - MAR 4 1901 - ASSASSINATED - SEP 6 1901 - DIED SEP 14 - 1901. At the left rim it shows Columbia standing, mourning, her right hand resting on a shield bearing the Presidential eagle. At bottom rim it shows palm branch and wreath.
