We received this signed book at the conference. Dr. Grandin became a prominent author and speaker on both autism and animal behavior. Today she is a professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University. In 2020 she was named as one of the top 10 Best College Professors by CEO Magazine. In 2022 she was awarded the University Distinguished Professor degree at Colorado State University. Book measures 10 7/8" tall x 8 1/2" wide and is almost 5/8" thick with 228 pages. BONUS MOVIE DVD: It features Claire Danes as "Temple" with other stars as Catherine O'Hara and David Strathairn. After listening to her speak we just had to see the movie. Very interesting movie that shows her determination and perseverance on dealing with her autism at a time when it was still quite unknown. CONDITION NOTES: Book Cover shows only minor wear. Overall in nice shape yet. DVD has been viewed twice, still in good shape. DVD Case Vinyl & Paper Insert are BOTH RIPPED AT THE BOTTOM---see pictured for details. Comes from a SMOKE & PET FREE HOME.
