Description: PR LATE CENTURY FIDDLEBACK WINDSOR RED OAK 44" HIGHBACK PHILADELPHIA STYLE CHAIR.These two chairs are in very good vintage condition and on is stamped Feb 15 1994,Cory.Inspectors stamp.The labels were removed.Only staples and some cardboard remain.Someone could I.D.them by the color of the cardboard and construction of the chairs.Definitely an accented back that is 44" tall and 23 1/2" wide at the top and has a 19" by 19" seat that is 17 " tall so the back of the chair towers 27" from the seat.The Philadelphia Fiddleback designed chair is made in red oak and the wood is alittle crude with some grain to it and is a manufactured chair as opposed to being handmade.These chairs sit well and are sturdy to sit in with no movement and fairly comfortable.The accented highback was a mid century design and the manufacturer must have had a patient on it and used it up until this time.So if you are interested in this set of chairs,you can buy them in this listing and I will send them out to the successful buyer as soon as the payment clears.Thank you for your consideration of these chairs and if you have any questions you may contact me thru this listing.
