Description: Superior Electric Powerstat Variable Autotransformer model 246T, Spec 177502. It has a rated input voltage of 240 Volts, output voltage range of 0-280 Volts, rated for 15 amps and 4.2 KVA. It is single-phase and rated for 50/60 Hz. I connected it to a 240 volt source and tested the unit and it works fine. See pictures as I took photos at various output voltages to show the full range of output voltage work smooth and fine. The multimeter and 240V power supply are not included, just shown in photos for testing verification purposes. A power cord is included, but connections would need to be made to the terminal blocks based on the way the autotransformer is utilized. The original instruction manual is also included. The only other working version of the 246T Powerstat Variable Transformer is being sold by Newark for over $2900, so this is a great deal.
