Porcelain Ginger Jar Handpainted Flowers & Red Peonies & Greenery made in Macau

Description: This is a classic porcelain ginger jar with lid, made in Macau which is under rule of China. It is handpainted with fading shades of red peonies, blue and yellow flowers and lots of greenery and even blue leaves. There is a red peony with a geometric diamond pattern on the lid. The jar is about 5 & 3/4 inches tall with the lid on, and 5 inches tall with the lid off. The opening to the jar is 1 & 3/4 inches in diameter and the lid has a rim so it fits inside the opening to the jar. The base of the jar is 3 inches in diameter. It weighs 1 pound 1 ounce. The jar is glazed, except for the rim on the base where the jar rests when put down, and the rim of the lid. The inside of the jar and inside of the lid is glazed white. The design is painted on top of the glaze. The base of the jar is stamped in red, showing it was made in Macau, and is not food safe. The jar and lid are in excellent vintage shape, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Really pretty set. Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree video for a closer look.
