The batteries allow the toy to have sounds when the yellow button is pushed. All items are coming from a non-smoking household and we also do not have indoor furry pets. I do my best to assure my items to be as clean as possible. Policies: Return Policy: If an item is broken during shipment, the buyer will need to send me photographs of the broken item so that I can file a claim with the shipping service.
