Pioneer SX-1050 Vintage Stereo Receiver (ugly and dirty, great for restoration)

Description: This Pioneer SX-1050 receiver (serial number XF3622648S) is in really rough cosmetic condition. The wooden cabinet is beat up with plenty of scratches and banged up corners. It's missing the plastic feet underneath. The treble control knob is bent. The built-in antenna is almost totally broken off and hanging on by a single wire. The controls are very scratchy and it's tough for the input controls to make good contact. Also, while we haven't taken it out of the cabinet, I can tell you that it's very dirty/dusty inside and should really be thoroughly cleaned. Having said all that, we tested the tuner and auxiliary input and it's playing alright. Regardless, given it's poor condition and the issue mentioned, it's being sold as-is for parts or restoration. I apologize if shipping seems steep, but please keep in mind that this price includes the most professional packaging you'll find on eBay.
