Description: This vintage cookie jar from 1973 has the Pillsbury Doughboy, Poppin’ Fresh! It measures 10 ½” tall with a 5 ½” x 4 ¾” base. The white ceramic cookie jar has blue eyes, scarf, button on the chef’s cap and “COOKIES” spelled out. The hat is removable to fill the jar with goodies! On the back, near the bottom, there is a copyright symbol followed by –THE Pillsbury COMPANY 1973. U.S.A. is stamped / incised into the back of the lower rim / edge of the dough boy’s chef’s hat. The cookie jar is in very good condition, except for a ½” chip on the inside of “body” at the top, what looks like a “crack” in the glaze on the back bottom (near the logo), and a very tiny chip on the bottom back.
