PHILLIPS EL3534A Reel To Reel Recordable Tape Stereo Portable Speaker 7" (AS IS)

Description: The PHILLIPS EL3534A Reel to Reel Tape Recorder is being sold as is for parts or not working. BUT IT WORKS. WE JUST DON’T KNOW HOW WELL IT WORKS. This vintage piece from the Netherlands comes with a 7-inch portable speaker (hidden in the lid of the case) and is perfect for collectors or enthusiasts. When you turn the right dial to 7 1/2 something starts turning internally and if you click play it plays the Peter Paul and Mary reel that is (and will stay) with the machine plays perfectly well. BUT IT DIDN’T WORK EVERY TIME & the internal rotating seems abnormally loud but I’m to young to tell if that’s the way the machine should work or if it needs maintenance. The case has a few bucks in the cover, the Philips label is missing from the front grate and on of the plastic sections is cracked (see pics) This tape recorder is a a super interesting addition to any collection due to its brand (many were branded NORTEC) this is the Philips model. Also there is an extra set of cables and the vintage microphone - AT9100 made in Japan. Be sure to purchase this rare piece before it's too late! This piece weighs 30lbs or so; there are no returns and is being sold as. It cannot be returned for any reason even if it doesn’t work at all (but it does work, we just don’t know how well).
