Description: This lot is for a hand-painted screen used/production animation cel from Walt Disneys PETER PAN (PETER PAN, WENDY,JOHN, Michael ) in an amazing flying scene of the whole cast!. This is the only full cast flying cel I could find a record of. REALLY RARE. The cels have been trimmed to fit mat/frame. These are original production cels. Not limited editions or anything . These are the real deal. The titles are also handwritten. SIZE: 13 1/2x 9 in FRAMED Condition: good! They were trimmed BUT the cels are in excellent condition. The mat under frame has some light spotting. The air pockets under/over cel should go away if you remove cel. They were kept in the art binder/frames all these years!!! Very rare. Based on the cells outside of the frames, I’m guessing this one is taped to the cardboard backing inside the frame Recently, I was lucky enough to purchase 25 original hand-painted screen used animation cels from from the 1951-1966. The cells are from 101 dalmatians, Peter Pan, sleeping beauty, lady, and the tramp, Alice in wonderland, and Winnie the Pooh. They all came trimmed and matted the same way with hand written titles (in amazing handwriting)as you see here. They came in a large black binder ( took a picture of but not included) titled “ 25 original cartoons from Walt Disney”. This seems to be a publicity/employee gift type sampler .
