Description: I obtained this 18x24 poster via a family friend who had gotten it as a giveaway from Wheaties and General Mills Cereals. In 1985 if you collected enough boxtops and sent them into General Mills they would send you this poster back as a promotion during Pete Rose's chase of Ty Cobb's all time hits record. The poster has the original artist's signature and date of 85 on it. The original note that came with it from General Mills is included as well. I was able many years later to get Pete to sign and beautifully inscribe the piece at a show in NJ in 2010. It is in excellent condition and guaranteed authentic.
