Description: Personalized Name or Text Fretboard Vinyl Decal Inlays for Guitar in 30+ Colors! ** Please Read This Entire Description ** Decals are shown in 023 Cream.These come in your choice of 30 standard colors, and for an additional cost I have Pearl / Pearloid, Abalone, and Antique / Aged printed vinyl.There is a maximum of 15 characters (including spaces). If your set is 5 characters or less, I will mail you 2 of the same sets.These decals will NOT necessarily cover fretboard dots (most fretboard dots can be covered using a paint pen or permanent marker).For Short Scale guitars I base the examples off a fretboard width of 1 5/8" at the nut and 1 15/16" at the 11th fret. For Long Scale guitars the measurements are 1 9/16" at the nut and 1 7/8" at the 11th fret. **In order to keep my prices low and save you money in the process, I ship my decals by First Class Letter Rate.****Shipping by First Class with Tracking and Priority Mail Flat Rate envelopes are available at an additional cost, and I will combine shipping on multiple orders** The text is 1 1/2" high, and will be aligned for the best appearance. For example, I will make sure a fret doesn't go through (and cut out) a very necessary part, like an 'i' or the number 1. These decals will fall within the 1st and 11th fret (you can message me if you have a general location in mind within those frets). There are 5 fonts available, and custom fonts may be available upon request (there may also be an additional fee). I will send you a screenshot to show you where the decal set will be placed on your fretboard before mailing. An example of a screenshot can be found among the item pictures (it's the 7th picture), and the screenshot will include the fret numbers for easy reference. Upon checkout, there will be a place for you to include a message to seller, and this will be where you add the Text you would like (up to 15 characters) and the Font Style you prefer (#1 thru #5). If you have your own idea of where you would like the text to be within the 1st and 11th fret, you would put that info in the message box as well. Occasionally, the message box doesn't come up for customers. If that happens, you can just direct message me. My phone app is always on, and I usually respond rather quickly. Because the width of fretwire (and even the frets of two different guitars of the same scale) can vary slightly, these decals may need to be trimmed very slightly before applying. The decals will need to be cut apart and laid on the fretboard first to line them up and get an idea of the placement before applying. Some experience with these types of decals will be very helpful, but they definitely aren't too difficult to do. When you receive your decal set be sure to go over it with a hard plastic straight edge or credit card to be sure the transfer tape is sticking to the decal. Using something like removable marking chalk or painter's tape to mark the halfway point of the fretwire can be helpful. Then you can use that as a guide to always know where the middle of the fret is to ensure exact alignment, although I applied all my displays by sight. There is an instruction sheet among the item pictures (it's the last picture), and there are YouTube videos available on applying fretboard decals. I found it very useful to use my thumbnail (or the edge of a credit card) when applying the decals to get the edge where the fret meets the fretboard. *I can also do most band names and logos as well. Feel free to message me for details. These sets of decals are made on high quality Oracal 651 with permanent adhesive. I also have three specialty colors printed on Oracal Orajet Orafol printable vinyl with permanent adhesive. These were printed on a Roland TrueVIS VG2-540 printer using TrueVIS TR2 Eco-Solvent ink. The color may vary slightly depending on your screen's resolution. The pattern you receive will also vary, depending on where the decals were cut on the sheet. I included pictures of an uncut sheet of each of the specialty vinyl. After applying the decals, let the adhesive cure for a day before playing. *Easy to apply with just a little time and patience.
