Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. "Request Zest," script by George Gladir, inks by Jon D'Agostino; Reggie uses a radio call-in dedication line to cause trouble for everyone else; featuring "The Foxman," a thinly-veiled parody of radio personality Wolfman Jack. "Weight and Fate" one-page story, art by Jon D'Agostino; Archie samples an old fashioned fortune scale. Jughead Pin Up, pencils by Dan DeCarlo, inks by Rudy Lapick. "Horn of Plenty," script by Dick Malmgren, pencils by Gus Lemoine, inks by Jon D'Agostino; Archie starts playing the tuba in order to join the school marching band, then shows his utter inability to play it correctly. "Cluck Cluck," script and art by Joe Edwards; Charley gets a job delivering take-out chicken in a chicken costume; Jinx gets an idea on how he can deliver his routes faster.
