Description: This is the November 1, 1941, issue of People and Places, a publication of the De Soto division of Plymouth Motors. The magazine was styled to look like current magazines, and was part current events and issues and a marketing publication for the automobile brand. The magazine was a give-away at Plymouth/De Soto dealers (in this case, Wagstaff Motor Co. of Atlanta, Georgia). It is a rather rare publication, and would have been discontinued quickly once Pearl Harbor was attacked... The magazine contains multiple articles, as well as information on the 1942 De Soto (which, like all 1942 automobiles, would be discontinued as the nation shifted to manufacturing needed armaments for use in World War II). The magazine contains 16 pages of articles and black & white photos. The advertising is just for De Soto models. The issue measures approximately 8.5 x 11 inches.
