Description: Pathological Denversaurus Scute Section Dinosaur Bone - collected from Lance Creek Formation, New Castle, WY, Cretaceous 68 MYO. A very rare pathological scute section of a Denversaurus (a type of notosaurid dinosaur). The scute is the outer armor from a notosaurus type dinosaur. There are impressions of where a predator left bite marks from an altercation (yellow arrows). There are also large depressions indicative of an infection leaving the abscess holes (yellow circles). A very rare and unusual piece of dinosaur bone to have both teeth impressions and a pathological remnant. Item #229F
