Description: this is a wonderful silent movie item. it's a very hard to find block of six different attached stamps featuring silent film stars who worked for the pathe film studio. the stamps were issued by wentz & company, new york. c. 1914. the block measures 5.5”x6.” 6 stamps - crane wilbur marguerite risserirving cummingseleanor woodruff (named spelled eleanoi)francis carlylem. o. penn all stamps are in terrific condition.removed from an album, so the back has a small paper remnant in ea corner that doesn’t affect the front. very hard to find early cinema promotional item.
