Description: Parker Insignia in Laque Winter Blue pattern, from my collection. This pen is in very good used condition. The Parker Insignia was first introduced in 1991 and was in production till 2008. This particular pen has the date code of IIP, which corresponds to the 2nd quarter of 1997. The Insignia is one of the last Parker models to be manufactured in the US, before the US Parker plant was closed in 2000. As a predecessor to the Parker Sonnet model, which was designed by the same team, the nib is interchangeable with the Sonnet fountain pen. The pen is in excellent used conditions and writes flawlessly. The medium nib and tines are all in perfect condition. This pen was purchased used about 12 years ago and I had used it for a while until my workplace became fully paperless. It was properly cleaned after it was last used.
