Description: PAIR VINTAGE SIZE 5-1/2 D CHILD'S WOOD SHOE LAST MOLDS Beautiful vintage pair of child size shoe lasts used to construct shoes. 5-1/2" Long X 2-1/4" Wide. Marked Kempton May 1960 #3209 The size is stamped into the lasts. This is a matched Pair They have a natural waxed finish. This is a nice old original pair of shoe last forms used in a shoe factory for manufacturing a pair of shoes. These type wooden molds were used to build the shoes to the correct size and form as they traveled through the factory from start to finish. They are made of Maple and are in really nice condition with a nice satiny patina. A great piece of American industrial memorabilia and an interesting and decorative item for your home. All measurements were carefully taken but may not be exact.
