Description: These are very rustic and have some rust on them. They are heavy and heavy duty. One of the candle holders spins if you manually turn it, but still is attached very well. These are very gothic looking. Please look at the photos as they are a part of the description. Thank you for your interest in this listing and please check out my other listings. They are a flat black and would be easy to repaint if you wished to do so. I honestly do not know if these are steel or iron. I did the magnet test and the magnet pulled the sconce to it; so I'm leaning towards steel.
