We can generally store anything you purchase for a few months to accommodate your pick-up or shipping requirements. DESCRIPTION: Pair of vintage arm dining chairs. By MCGUIRE, San Francisco. Bent rattan with rawhide lashings and woven cane back and underarms. Blond finish. Stick decking. Plastic glides. All original. The loose seat cushion is urethane foam with a zip-off, printed cotton cover. Manufacturer's markings: both chair frames bear metal McGuire tags "McGuire ® - San Francisco - U.S. Patent No. 2,936,009 & 3,297,063 - Copyright © 1964-71-3-74-76-78". I believe these chairs date from the 1980s. I recently acquired these chairs from the estate of the original owner. See my other listings for 2 additional pair of these chairs. CONDITION: CHAIR FRAMES: Both chair frames exhibit very light, typical use-related wear: minor finish wear to the tops of the arms; finish wear to the rawhide covering the tops of the front legs; light heel marks at the bottoms of the front legs; scattered, small, light/superficial rubs, scratches and dings. See photos. None of this is at all significant or conspicuous. Otherwise both chairs are generally in excellent, gently used condition with no damage and no significant wear. No restorations or repairs. No other finish wear. No chips, cracks, breaks, bruises, splits, dents, gouges, bruises. No breaks or damage to the woven cane. No breaks to the rawhide lashing. No significant scratches, rubs or dings. No stains or discolorations. No noticeable fading. No areas of uneven color or tone. No looseness or structural issues. Generally clean as found. No grime. From a pet-free, smoke-free home. These chairs appear to have always been used on a carpeted surface and consequently the glides are in excellent condition with very little wear. CUSHIONS: The cushion covers exhibit some scattered use-related staining and discolorations as well as some uniform fading. I assume you will want to replace the cushion covers. Otherwise the cushion covers are in good condition with no holes, tears, splits, etc. The zippers are functional with no issues. The foam cushions themselves are generally in good condition with no hardening or other issues and could possibly be reused.
