Description: Items under consideration are a pair of very rare, antique, handmade and hand decorated, dual handled, French Sevres Style, Porcelain Urn Vases. Background coloration is of Cobalt Blue and Gold Gilt with Pink Florals on sides and pedestal of the vases. Both vases have manufacture’s mark on the bottom. The body of the urn is covered with embossed gold gilt patterns with large pink roses and green foliage situated on each side of the vase body. The 3 3/4 inch tall pedestal and the top 2 12 inches of the urn, containing the neck and handles, are cobalt blue, containing hand painted gold decorations and pink roses (photos# 5, 7, & 10). Beautiful and elegant pair to add to any mantle, curio, table or desk. Perfect condition no chips, no cracks, no repairs no crazing and no restorations. NOTE: Antique Maker's stamp located at bottom of each of the Urn Vases consists of a cross mounted on a crown mounted on a shield with a 5-pointed star in the center. Appraisers have identified the Limoges area of France as the origin of the vases. However, current efforts to verify the exact manufacturer have been inconclusive to date (please see photo number 12).
