The ABU sleeve features a drain grommet in the bottom that COULD serve the same purpose with a little ingenuity and 550 cord. (We can help you with the 550 cord but not necessarily the ingenuity) These inserts also have a hard plastic component that ensures that this insert keeps its shape and provides even more impact resistance.
