Up for sale is one (1) Ozzy Osbourne - Blizzard Of Ozz UK Import LP from 1980 on Jet Records (#JETLP 234). THIS IS A SUPER RARE UK IMPORT LP THAT INCLUDES THE SUPER RARE 4 PANEL FOLDOUT POSTER and THE HYPE STICKER TOUTING THE POSTER AFFIXED DIRECTLY TO THE COVER. ALSO INCLUDES THE CUSTOM INNER LYRIC SLEEVE. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK PRESSING ON JET RECORDS THAT WAS RELEASED IN THE UK IN SEPTEMBER OF 1980. THE US VERSION WASN'T RELEASED UNTIL MARCH OF 1981. THE UK COVER HAS A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TITLE FONT THAN THE US RELEASE. THE UK HAS A RED AND WHITE or SILVER FONT, WHEREAS THE US RELEASE IS A SOLID RED FONT. I obtained this LP new as an Import at Rolling Stones Records in September 1980. I only played it a few times because I copied it to cassette. I also had a copy of the US release that I played. I was the only kid in town with this LP. Come March and April of 1981 everyone had this LP. I never displayed the poster, it has been folded and preserved inside the sleeve lo these many years. Features the incredible band of MR. RANDY RHOADS on Guitar, Bob Daisley on Bass, Lee Kerslake on Drums and Don Airey on Keyboards.PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS GREAT! But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading. The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading. Even with a Very Good+ grading there may be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticible during the quiet parts.Nice, clean labels with minor spindle marks. The cover is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, scrapes, creases and crumples, etc... There are no split seams. AND ANY ISSUES STATED ABOVE! These UK import covers are flimsy and don't age well, buy this one is in Very Good+ shape. The custom inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, ring wear, scrapes, creases and crumples, etc... There are no split seams. AND ANY ISSUES STATED ABOVE! The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve. The Poster is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, minor creases & crumples, etc... There are no rips, tears or pinholes.
