Description: Powerful and very rare Salvador Dali Lithograph depicting the Holocaust. I have owned this for about 15 years. Framed it right away and never actually hung it up. It has been stored away from sunlight and humidity in a smoke free home. I can not find this exact lithograph for sale on e-bay or anywhere else for that matter. It is my opinion that owners of this specific Lithograph do not resell it. I am open to a reasonable offer to sell this stunning art work for a fair price. Please send me an offer. I will ship this via Fedex Ground, insured, and properly packaged. Free insured shipping to anywhere in the continental USA. A Little history found online on the Jewish Press website:In early 1968, a special issue of Hadassah Magazine was released for the 20th Anniversary of the return of Israel. This sparked immediate inspiration for Salvador Dali, which then led to the coordination of a masterpiece collection paying tribute to the event known as “Aliyah”.Dali titled this collection “Aliyah”, which quite perfectly translates to “migration to the land of Israel”. To best honor the return of the Jewish to their homeland, Dali sought inspiration from both the Hebrew bible and contemporary history, to cover the dispersion of Jews over the course of 2,000 years. Salvador Dali designed a total of 25 mixed-media pieces to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel. To his preference, the artist worked with only gouache, watercolor, and Indian ink on paper for this series. Once completed, they were then reproduced as lithographs and published as a Limited Edition of 250 sets of 25 lithographs each. Please see all pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Please send any questions you may have via email. I am a novice art collector and will do my best to answer any questions.
