Description: For sale here is an Orvis Recon fly fishing rod and combo case. No reel included. It is 7'11"in length and weighs 3 3/8oz. The rod is 4 pieces and rated for 8 weight fly lines. This rod is in lightly used condition with the most wear on the reel seat that you can see in the pictures. Most likely from the salt water as it was only used a handful of times to fish the flats in Florida. There is still plastic on the butt section of the cork grip. The guide ferrules are nice. No cracks or rust. This rod comes with a nice rod/reel combo case from Orvis. This rod is in good condition and ready to be fished! The Orvis recon rods have a great reputation. I dont just glance at it and say, "Good enough." I put more time and effort into cleaning each item, which I hope my buyers can appreciate.
