The cartridge body has been designed to provide easy mounting and alignment on both top-mount and bottom-mount headshells.A tiny, removable weight plate is tucked into the mounting bracket for use with standard tonearms. Or, remove it for a low-mass tonearm, reducing the weight of the cartridge to a mere 2.5 g. Made from a plastic and glass compound, the OM 5E enclosure is lightweight and ensures high rigidity with freedom from resonance.
