Description: This is an authentic, original WWII US Navy Fixed Bale M-1 Helmet with a beautifully painted shell depicting the Landing Battalion. The helmet was worn by US Navy servicemen during the Second World War (1939-45) and is a unique piece of militaria from that period. The helmet has a fixed bale, which means that the chinstrap loops are welded directly onto the steel shell. The Landing Battalion design on the helmet is a rare find and adds to the historical significance of this item.
