South is at the top in this image. This image holds immense historical significance. It dramatically illustrates our planet's beauty and fragility, and it played a pivotal role in influencing public perception of space exploration. It represents a defining moment in human history when we first looked back at our own planet from another celestial body. Photo is on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso. There is wrinkling in the photo, which can be seen in the scans provided. The photo has been placed in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backer, then into a 8.5" x "11" rigid print protector for shipping. Due to the age of the photo, there is a slight amount of bowing. Any glare/discoloration is a result of the camera and not an issue with the piece itself, unless otherwise stated. We have a large collection of pictures that will be listed over time; a family member worked as JSC for 33 years and accumulated quite a collection of memorabilia while there. A good number of the pictures, we know what they are based on research, however, a lot of them, we do not and that will be disclosed in the description if need be.
