Description: Apollo 12 Vintage NASA "Red Number" Color Photo, Image AS12-46-6787: Alan Bean at the Lunar Module. An original chromogenic 8" x 10" print of a view of Bean removing the protective dome from the Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator fuel cask, on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso. There is wrinkling on the photo, which can be seen in the scans provided and the top of both the front and back have faint markings - I do not know if these are print marks or have any other explanation of what it could be. The photo has been placed in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backer, then into a 8.5" x "11" rigid print protector for shipping. Due to the age of the photo, there is a slight amount of bowing. Any glare/discoloration is a result of the camera and not an issue with the piece itself, unless otherwise stated. We have a large collection of pictures that will be listed over time; a family member worked as JSC for 33 years and accumulated quite a collection of memorabilia while there. A good number of the pictures, we know what they are based on research, however, a lot of them, we do not and that will be disclosed in the description if need be.
