Description: PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!!...Another pair of original 12" x 10.5" hand painted "model" animation cels featuring several characters from an episode of the 1976 Filmation Studio television series "Tarzan, Lord Of The Jungle". These cels are from the second (2nd) episode of the series that was titled "Tarzan & The Vikings" that aired on Sept 18th 1976. Characters shown on cel #1 include: Karina, Biorn & Lawman. Cel #2 shows the vikings Torval, Lars, Haldar & Eric. The plot of this episode has Tarzan being captured to be a slave......A "model" cel is produced and distributed to artists working on the film to guide them as to the color schemes needed for each animated character in the film. The reverse side of these cels is shown as well as the animation artists paint from the backside of cels using the black ink outlines drawn on the front-side as their guide. These cels are in nice shape with some lightening of the black ink "outlines" and text which is a common issue with model cels. There also may be a few corner/border pinholes and light wrinkling in spots. No real major condition issues. Attached images may show reflections.
