Description: ***Here is above nice condition ORIGINAL PREWAR LIONEL No. 226E 2-6-4 BERKSHIRE STEAM LOCOMOTIVE WITH THE No. 2226WX WHISTLING TENDER from around 1940. This is an awesome piece with a issue(warpage or "bow") on the shell of the tender(see photos). This is the finest 226E I have seen. The patina on the loco & tender is unreal and the 2226W has the 1940 era simulated coupler. Other than the warpage(which hasn't broke yet) it is LIKE NEW and she is a fine operating piece!*** This is as photographed and is as shown. ***Please note that I have been a member of the Train Collectors Assn since 1987.
