Description: Vintage Duncan Parking meter decorative pole and base Sleeve assembly. This was designed by Duncan to fit over an existing parking meter galvanized steel pole to give it a decorative look rather than a simple straight pole. The pole is fluted design and the base has some very nice decorative features on it. These are quite unique and are pretty rare in cities, etc because of the extra cost. This assembly has an original duncan green finish. The pole and base are separate pieces. The assembly is 36” in height.Since this was designed to go over an existing parking meter pole, it is not a rigid free standing pedestal. This assembly could be converted to a rigid, free standing pedestal used for multiple purposes (garden décor, sign holder, birdhouse or mailbox post, etc.) with a little effort on your part. We also have parking meters in our store if you wish to shop around for a combination deal. We have single and double heads of different colors.
