Description: An original antique J. I. Case sign or emblem made from cast iron and featuring the famous Old Abe eagle standing proudly on the globe. I understand it is from a steam tractor but do not know for sure. It is clearly old. The sign has a superb patina from age and the great workmanship on top of precision casting make every detail jump out. The sign is about 19" in total length and 13 pounds in weight. There is a mount on the back as well as a maker's mark. Very good shape as shown with very little rust. This is not a modern reproduction but an original antique. Please see the photos of both front and back. A wonderful piece of history and an awesome addition to any collection. Displays really well!
