Description: For parts or repair- Antique circa 1920s spelter Art Deco lamp with a figural kneeling woman. Non-working lamp with some condition issues. There are some splits, cracks and pitted areas on the spelter metal, including a rough cut-out area at the top back. The upper structural cage to hold the glass inserts is a bit bent out of shape (it is lightweight metal so it might be able to be carefully re-shaped.) Some of the channels that the glass slides into are a bit squeezed together. It is missing most of the the electrical lamp parts. The one inner threaded electrical socket holder is split at the sides. This threaded socket receives the bolt that is on the underside of the bowl. The bolt secures the upper glass panel cage. The cord should probably be replaced and needs to be threaded properly. This had an old type of socket with a small chain that hangs through the bowl area. I will include it with the lamp but it has not been tested and may not work. I doubt that the silver paint is the original finish - not sure what it looked like new. The glass panels are mismatched, one of the blue ones is cracked all the way across, a couple are plain glass and not stained or frosted. They are also crudely cut and are not all the same shape. Not sure if any of the 6 pieces originally went with this lamp. Weighs about 5 pounds. 18 5/8" tall with 6 1/4" X 4 7/8" base. Please see photos for condition. Sold “as is” in “as found” condition - for parts or repair only. This will ship by USPS with appropriate insurance.
